Taarna Grimsley is a multi disciplined artist who originally hails from Dallas,Texas and currently resides in Seattle, Washington.

She travels extensively, spending up to months at a time in various rural and urban environments and photography seemed the perfect medium to capture the ever shifting landscape around her.

Utilizing her metal fabrication skills, she travels with fellow artists to build large scale surreal pieces which interact with the people and places around them. Often drivable, climbable, and ridable these pieces are temporary behemoths of artwork which are known throughout the world.

Taarna has collaborated with such groups as Robochrist Industries and Madagascar Institute and has built pieces featured at Virgin Music Festival in Baltimore Maryland, Electric Picnic Festival in Stradbally, Ireland and Swoon's Swimming Sisters of Switchback Sea in New York state.

Work has also included a solo photography and art show, which opened May 2009 in Prescott, Arizona and various projects in Los Angeles, Oakland, New York, and New Orleans.
